This is a continuation of my previous post taking a look at Kristen Ann's Exploring Sacred Space: A Vast Quest and now it is time to tackle some of her more provocative concepts. One of these is the idea that at some point soon (possibly around December 21, 2012?) the earth may experience Three Days of Darkness.
This is a notion that has come up before, sometimes within a religious context, e.g., there will be no electricity and the only visible light available will come from candles blessed by a priest, presumably Catholic.
But I think we will stick to a more secular interpretation here. The central idea is that something, no one seems to be sure just what, will cause the entire globe to be plunged into darkness, receiving no light from our sun for three full days. No doubt if this were to come to pass, there would be a worldwide panic of unprecedented proportions.
Glas's advice was to stay inside and pull the curtains; gather your friends and family around and spend the time singing, telling stories and playing games.... I guess this would be a good time to remember the injunction, this too shall pass. He saw it as part of a necessary dimensional shift and said that once it passes...and he assures us that it will pass...we will find ourselves in a finer, higher plane of existence or dimension.
Despite the potentially traumatic nature of the event he stressed the importance of remaining happy and calm, saying that the transition will be peaceful, positive and uplifting, noting that it is a "...necessary event and in the end existence will be tremendously better."
The idea of a dimensional shift also came up in Ann's serendipitous meeting with Wayne Peterson, author of Extraordinary Times, Extraordinary Beings (a book which I previously found quite interesting and will be reviewing in a future post). She met with Peterson, a highly credible former career diplomat, almost by chance. He confirmed that his sources, too, in this case spiritual Masters with a "plan to help humanity," talked about a coming shift.
They had made it clear to him that it was a necessary transition, that everything would work out well, and that, in fact, "...life will be amazingly wonderful...." after the transition.
Another of her "credible sources" also talked about a coming "split" in which some of us would move onto a New Earth while others, those still harboring a lot of "negativities and hostilities," would continue on the Old Earth.
As one of her sources put it:
...in order to cross the dimensions to this finer and less physical existence, one's frequency or energy level needs to be elevated to a certain extent.
Others sources, such as David Wilcock, talk about the split in terms of those of us who are primarily oriented toward service-to-others (STO) and those who are more oriented toward service-to-self (STS). Perhaps in biblical terms this would be the time when "...one shall be taken, and the other left." (Matthew 24:40 KJV).
According to Ann the two realities will exist concurrently but on different planes or dimensions. Those on the Old Earth will be wholly within the physical dimension and apparently conditions there will not be all roses. She suggests that some of the many predictions about a future hellish existence may come from people accessing future life on the Old Earth. But she says that we won't know more about the New Earth "until we get there."
I have pondered this possible split for some time now and while appealing, I can't for the life of me see how it would possibly work....practically, morally, or ethically....but I will save that discussion for a later time.
