I was very pleased to receive a review copy of Kristen Ann's book, Exploring Sacred Space: A Vast Quest. As she noted in a recent email, her main emphasis is on:
helping people KNOW what's coming, be prepared and thus...move beyond fear....In understanding this whole event, I'm hoping it will help people see it as an adventure -- and that fear won't so much be a part of it.
This suggestion to avoid fear has popped up numerous times in my readings and I believe that it is excellent advice. In fact I will probably devote a whole post to it at some point. But now back to Exploring Sacred Space....
Right off the bat Ann decries the "many fear-based speculative scenarios [that] have been given for 2012" and asserts that her information "comes from far more accurate and reliable sources...." and "...is based on more than speculation."
Unfortunately in many cases she declines to name these "reliable sources," many of whom are apparently "gifted clairvoyants," thus we have to just trust her judgement as to their accuracy. A notable exception is the extensive reference she makes to the information she received in 1974 in a Waldorf Teacher Training from an instructor named Werner Glas.
As you may know, the Waldorf System was an offshoot of Anthroposophy founded by Rudolph Steiner in the early 1900's. In an earlier post we mentioned Steiner's prediction that the human race would "cross into another dimension" sometime around 2000. Glas built on the Steiner material to cover an extremely broad range of topics of significant interest.
One of his most provocative statements in the class was that, "Christ will be returning in your lifetime...." which mirrors the proclamations of Benjamin Creme regarding the imminent return of Christ, or as Creme terms it, Maitreya.
Glas also discussed the precession of the equinoxes, the 25,900 years it takes for the earth to wobble its way around the sun. He said that cataclysmic earth changes occur at the completion of each cycle, e.g., the flooding of Atlantis, and that we are reaching that point again. But not to worry,
...the changes this time will be unlike anything that has happened before. The whole Transition will play out differently this time around....It will be no ordinary Transition. This time it will truly be a 'transformation'....All life will transform to a finer level of existence.
However, he rather prophetically noted that there will be "segments of society who won't be able to handle [the] increased energy. You will see behaviors getting more and more erratic." Unfortunately he has been proven right, as anyone who follows the daily news would know.
According to him another source the Maya believed that on December 21, 2012 the sun will receive a powerful ray of light from the center of the galaxy which will thrust mankind into a new Golden Age, a concept that we discussed in some detail earlier in a consideration of the work of David Wilcock.
Ann goes on to note that the Maya didn't say that time would end on that date, but that time will no longer continue in the same way -- again, a concept that we have covered in a number of previous posts, most notably in considering the the work of Geoff Stray.
She also discusses the Seneca Wheel of Ages, in which each age or world is seen as a new period of evolution or awakening. According to the Seneca we are passing from the World of Separation into the World of Illumination, beginning in 2012, with a Time of No Time between each world.
On another subject, I have long been interested in the Akashic Record, which I have understood to be the place where all past and present information is stored. More particularly, as a regression therapist I assumed it was the Akashic Record that my clients and I were tapping into for information about their past lives.
According to Ann, it is also a repository of information about the future, which is always in a state of flux as conditions change. Apparently this is now especially true because of the societal changes that began in the mid-twentieth century. Thus, according to her, any earlier predictions based on the Akashic Record may no longer be totally accurate as to either timing or content.
One result, according to Ann, is that we may not see the cataclysmic events that have been prophesied for so long. She places the cause for this with the involvement of an unprecedented number of evolved Masters who are now exerting a positive influence on global events.
This is similar to an assertion found in Revelations for a New Era, a Messages from Matthew book channeled by Suzy Ward, Matthew's mother when he was incarnate. According to Matthew, the Creator issued a decree around the turn of the century, the net effect of which was that the predicted cleansing of the earth would be far less reaching in scope and intensity, resulting in far less damage and death, than formerly required. [Note: The Messages from Matthew material, both the books and the online readings, is extremely interesting. We will definitely be visiting them in future posts.]
LATER ADDENDUM: SaLuSa, an entity channeled by Michael Quinsey in ET First Contact, had this to say on August 6, 2012:
...the end times are divinely decreed and they will pass accordingly...there is nothing to worry about....there is no longer the necessity for a catastrophic ending to the cycle. That was only applicable when it seemed evident that Man was trapped in the lower vibrations....
Ann also has some provocative things to say about the possibility of Three Days of Darkness, dimensional shifts, ET's and other equally intriguing subjects but that will have to wait for our next post.
